Types of evaluations
I offer different kinds of evaluations to meet your needs. We will work together to decide which type of evaluation is the best choice for you.
ADHD Evaluation:
This evaluation is for adults who have trouble focusing and wonder if they have Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Many physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors can interfere with the ability to focus. A thorough evaluation is necessary to determine if your trouble focusing is due to ADHD or if there is another underlying cause. This evaluation will help you understand the reasons for your attention challenges and give you information about the best treatment options. Cost: $2,800
Psychoeducational Evaluation:
This evaluation is for adults who have trouble learning, focusing, and achieving their full potential. This evaluation will determine if you have ADHD, a learning disorder (such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia), or another issue that interferes with your performance at work, in school, or on standardized exams. This evaluation will give you information about your intellectual abilities, attention and executive functions, academic skills, learning, memory, and diagnosis. This evaluation can help you qualify for accommodations at work, in school, and on standardized exams. You will also receive important information about the best treatment options for you. Cost: $3,800.
Social-Emotional Evaluation:
This evaluation is designed for adults struggling with emotions, behaviors, or relationships. This evaluation will help you better understand yourself and give you recommendations for the best treatment options. Therapists and psychiatrists often recommend social-emotional evaluations to help them better understand their client’s symptoms so that they can provide the best treatment possible. Cost: $3,800.
Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation:
This in-depth evaluation includes all elements of the psychoeducational and social-emotional evaluations, providing the most complete and thorough understanding of your strengths and challenges. This evaluation is useful for adults who have a combination of attention, learning, social, and emotional difficulties. A comprehensive evaluation will give you a personalized plan for the best treatment options, and it will also help you qualify for accommodations at work, school, and on standardized exams. Cost: $5,000.
What are the benefits of psychological testing?
Self-Understanding: Get a clear picture of your strengths and challenges. You will understand yourself better and learn if your experiences are due to a diagnosable condition, such as ADHD, a learning disorder, autism, or a mental health condition.
Targeted Treatment: With an accurate diagnosis, you can focus your efforts on the right treatments and get results faster.
Qualify for accommodations in college, at work, and on standardized exams (such as graduate school exams and licensing exams).
